Biography

My name is Kittie Caracciolo. I graduated from college with a degree in vocal performance and music education. I wanted to be a high school music teacher but that never came to pass. I am a director for a large medical management company in Orlando, FL where I have lived for thirty four years.

My mother was a florist and I used to work in the shop with her. I loved playing with flowers and ribbon became a passion. Mother taught me floral design and I think that creative process has been very helpful to me in other crafts. I was first introduced to rubber stamping back in August of 2003. Soon I found that I loved trying to add sketched and water colored scenery around stamped images. I have never had any formal art lessons and had never painted or sketched a thing in my life, but found myself purchasing artist pens and brushes and starting out on a journey that has become a passion for me.

I attribute my creative growth to a wonderful rubber art stamping site called Splitcoaststampers.com. I have been allowed the freedom to upload my art work in a gallery there and to gain feedback from a wonderful community of creative artists from all over the world. I love teaching and am drawn to helping others realize their own personal creative skills. We all have them and just need to have the courage to set them free.

I have been married to my husband Bob for fourteen years. He is the most wonderful and supportive husband in the world, my biggest fan and my most honest critic. He knows stamping and painting is very important to me is encouraging to me every step of the way.
