Treasure Hunts, Pixie Pouches and Easter Bunnies. What do these have in common? I am excited that I get to give the first clue in the Rubbernecker Treasure Hunt. I wanted to play in the Technique Lover's Challenge which was to make Pixie Poucges and decided to make an Easter pocket to send to my husband's great niece. Give all of this thought for the clue to the treasure while I tell you a little about my project.
This little Easter Bunny is from the
Rubbernecker Easter collection. I dug through my stacks of designer paper and found this two sided coordinating paper and thought it was perfect for this little bunny. I used paper piecing to create the hat, bow, dress and basket. If you don't know, paper piecing is a fun way to add lots of punch to your creations. All you do is stamp your images on a designer paper of your choice, cut out parts and piece them together over the image stamped on your main layer. You can pop up some of the images for added depth. After I finished my bunny I sponged on a little color and added some texture and flowers to the image. I think this is so cute. I used three different egg images from the Easter collection as well and piled them up on the card pocket layer. OK. So have you figured out what the first clue is for the treasure. You just need to go to Rubberneckers and go to the Easter collection to start your journey. If you don't go....well...I can't be responsible.

To top it all off, for those of you who have been patient and read all the way through my blog article. I am giving away blog candy. Really good blog candy. All you have to do to claim the candy is leave me a comment and tell me how long you have been stamping. I have been stamping for five years. Oh....and do you want to know what the blog candy is.........???
GuessWhat!!!! I forgot to mention that there are three other design team members giving away blog candy today as well. Check out their links.
Leave your comment by midnight Tuesday and I will announce the randomly picked winner by noon on Wednesday, the 23rd. Good Luck!!!

Oh, I've been stamping for uhm....let me see...about three weeks! Hah! I'm having so much fun and learning so much from you guys! I've been a scrapbooker for years but never played with stamps really. Then my coworker gave me a box of 30 Stampin' Up sets so I went online to see what I could do with these....and voila! now I'm hooked! Feeling my way around right now but I'm having fun!

Hi Kittie, I have been stamping for two years this coming April. It is hard to believe that I am so new at it. If you saw my craft room (yeah, built one of those) and all of my necessary tools (yeah, it doesn't take long to accumulate) you would think I have been stamping for many, many years!!!
