Happy Tuesday! My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Technique Lovers Challenge. Belleek Pottery was our inspiration and we were to create a colored pattern on cardstock by applying ink on to an embossing folder. You can find step by step instructions on how to perform this technique here.
I inked the front side of the embossing folder with Antique Linen using a brayer, inserted the cream cardstock, turned the folder front side down on my Big Shot and embossed.
I created a frame, sponged on ink and mounted with mounting tape on the embossed layer. I punched several little flowers, sponged ink on, distressed and glued four together for each flower. After applying ink I attached the leafy flourish to the frame and base of the card and attached the flowers. I sponged several rock fern foliage and arranged around the flowers to complete.
I love the elegance of this card. It really is so much prettier in person than in the photo.
I hope you are having a great week and appreciate you stopping by. I hope to have another pretty project for you tomorrow.
Paper: Vanilla Ink: Antique Linen Accessories: Martha Stewart PATP Punch Set, EK Success Mini Daisy Flower and Rock Fern Punches, My Favorite Things Leafy Flourish Die, Sizzix Embossing Folder, Mounting Tape, Stylus, Mat, Glossy Accents, Brayer, Sponge, Paper Piercer (point to work with and pick up tiny flowers)

So lovely - enjoy seeing all your work - glad your cat is back

Kittie, sorr if this is a repeat, I keep forgetting about that security thing and type my message and close the window after hitting enter and then I remember, and have to come and do it all over again.
Love this technique, you make them all look wonderful, and easy!!! Which I know that they are not, your talents never cease to amaze.

Kitty, I think this is one of the most beautiful cards you've ever made and you've made a few! What is the name of the MS PAP and the embossing folder name? I'd love to add them to my stash. When I get in the stores they all look alike!! Thanks so much for keeping us inspired.
