Happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I’ve enjoyed my morning making two floral Valentine projects.
I have really fallen in love with white on white projects but I sometimes have trouble getting good photos. This could certainly be a wedding or anniversary card but I had Valentine’s in mind.
I like the look of the heart circle layered over the square heart base. I popped both layers up with mounting tape for dimension.
I love the all white flowers, foliage and butterflies. It is really hard to see but there are tiny pearls in the flower centers and on the butterflies. You can check out my flower spray tutorial if you would like to see step by step photos of how I create my sprays.
My second project has a white card base and decorative pendant but the flowers and foliage add a pop of bright color against the white.
I wanted to create a rosebud nosegay for this card. I used several 1” punched and distressed circles to create the bud. I rolled the center circle up very tightly and glued it. I then light rolled and glued each circle on to create the appearance of rose petals. The final layer was a 1 1/4” circle that could fit all the way around to close the bud.
I attached the rosebud and foliage to the pendant and finished with a multi loop bow. This reminds me of the corsages my mother used to make in the shop for Easter and Mother’s Day.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
