Happy Sunday! After receiving several requests yesterday I have added a Rosebud Tutorial to my tutorial pages if you would like to check it out.
I have another floral project to share with you today. I used the Spellbinders Blossom Two die set and EK Success mini daisy punch to create the my flower.
I cut three sizes of the flower and punched one mini daisy and then cut down towards the center between each scalloped edge to form petals. I distressed each petal on the flowers to curl and add dimension. I sponged Shell Pink ink on each petal to add depth of color to the pink and filled the center with three tiny pearls.
I used the Spellbinders Foliage die, Poppy Stamps Gentle Leaf die and Martha Stewart Branch punch to create the foliage spray around the flower. The foliage was distressed and then sponged with Shabby Shutters.
I think the little pink butterflies with pearls are the perfect finishing touch along with the gorgeous embossed background.
Well…..I have to prepare myself for the upcoming full five day work week. Yikes. After being off 1 1/2 week and then only having to work four days last week I believe I have a long week ahead of me. LOL I hope you are having a great day and I really appreciate you stopping in.
