Rose, Butterfly and Belleek Inspired Flourish Background

Good Sunday morning.  I have a clean and simple yet elegant project to share with you today.  I love the Belleek Inspired technique. and the effect of brayering ink on the inside of an embossing folder. It creates such a soft background when used with light colored ink.

I applied ink on the front inside of the Starry Night embossing folder, inserted my paper and put it through the Big Shot with the front side face down. I punched the eyelet border using the Martha Stewart PATP Eyelet set, crimped with my straight Crimper and attached to the card base with mounting tape

I cut the mini rose using the MFT Mini Rolled Roses set, rolled it around my tweezers and attached it closed with glossy accents. I lightly applied a light pink PanPastel to the petals.  I cut leaves using the leaf cluster and formed them with my stylus and molding pad. I attached three large leaves to form a circle with glossy accents. I attached the rose right in the center with glossy accents and tucked branches and additional leaves around to create the small floral spray.

I thought the Memory Box Pippi Butterfly would be perfect to add one more elegant element to this soft and feminine card.
