Kittie's Korner Fall Scene Tutorial
Today I have a fall scene tutorial to share with you using the new Kittie Kits Fall Harvest and Outdoor Master.
Stamps: Rubbernecker Kittie Kits Fall Harvest and Outdoor Master
Paper: Watercolor, Old Olive
Ink: Black Versafine, Dried Marigold, Peeled Paint, Wild Honey, Aged Mahogany, Rusty Hinge, Stormy Sky, Vintage Photo
Accessories: Hand Cut Cloud Template, Sponge, Brush, Grosgrain
1. Sponge Peeled Paint on the lower half of the page.
2.Stamp the trees and pumpkins right over top of the green with black ink. Your brown and orange inks will cover the green. Note: When you ink up the tree take a wipe and blot off some from the top half so it won't show so much through the leaves.
4. Using the mini fern image from the Outdoor Master stamp in Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey to create colorful leaves.
5. Stamp Peeled Paint and Aged Mahogany to add additional fall color.
6. Fill in the ground area under the trees and around the pumpkins with the same colors as the leaves. Add touches of green to the areas without fall colored leaves to add texture to the ground.
7. Use the scalloped cloud template and sponge to create the sky. Rotate the scallops back and forth to create an uneven pattern of clouds.
Finish your card. In my finished card I cut out and added another set of pumpkins on the other side of the scene and a rake leaning up against the tree.
