I had fun playing in the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge and the inspiration site was Creative Wall Covering. I was inspired by Reflecting Bouquet in the picture below.
Here is what I came up with.
I punched out several white flowers and formed the petals using needle nose pliers.
I color washed the flowers with a light mixture of water and reinker. While the flowers were still very wet I brushed a tiny dots of full reinker into the flower centers, quickly washed the brush and lightly moved the reinker around the center and up the lower part of the petals.
I heat dried the flower and then formed the center of the flower using a stylus on a mat.
I really like how the washed flowers look against the all white. I think the little white pearls are the perfect finish for them. If you would like to see a few photos on how I accomplished the wash on the flowers check out my Color Wash Flower tutorial.
