Good Wednesday morning. I have to admit that I really have to stretch myself to find comfort in making Halloween cards. LOL! But I have three to share with you today and I hope you will enjoy them.
In my first project I have combined the Impression Obsession Halloween Hill and Bare Branch with the Memory Box Graveyard Landscape.
I cut a free hand frame with my craft knife on the card front. I attached mounting tape to the back side of the opening and attached the Halloween Hill die. I cut a piece of mustard cardstock large enough to cover the opening and attached to the back of the opening.
I cut the Graveyard Landscape, crimped the bottom and attached it to the bottom of the frame opening with mounting tape.
I hand cut the top portion of the frame with deckle scissors, crimped it and attached with mounting tape. I added the bare branches with glossy accents. This is dark but full of cartoony fun. I don’t like scary Halloween. I like fun. I want to point out that the bare branch has a lovely leaf as part of the set and I can’t wait to create a lovely outdoor scene with it. I just thought the bare branch looked good and spooky for this card.
See all those spiders. How would you like to run into those guys in a dark room. Yikes!!! This is made with the Memory Box Dangling Spider and Creepy Web.
There isn’t much to this card but some designer paper, die cut webs and spiders. The card if only 4’ x’4”. I thought this would be so fun to attach to a Halloween basket or gift.
Speaking of spiders. The other morning I noticed that one of my cats was wrestling with something in the corner of my bedroom. That is never really a good sign. I walked over and saw that he had cornered a huge spider. The shriek could be heard all through the neighborhood. Let it be known that no spider is a match for a cat on a hunting mission.
My last project combines the Rubbernecker Crows In Trees with the Memory Box Estate Fence and Graveyard Landscape . That fence looks exactly like the black wrought iron fences seen around cemeteries.
I stamped the crows image with Brilliance Graphite Black pigment ink and embossed with black embossing powder.
I attached the fence with glossy accents along the base of the fence and then bent the top portion around to make it look old and scary. I attached the graveyard landscape with mounting tape.
I hope you are having a great week and thanks for stopping by.

Okay, I am loving your Halloween cards. I too get stretched when making them, but you have really done the IO dies justice and the others too for that matter. The links aren't working for the images, but if I can help with that let me know. I had to update mine a while back. LOL ;-)
