Good Tuesday morning. Gingham and pine are some of my favorite decorations for Christmas. My project today pairs them with some holly and berries along with a couple of pinecones and red birds.
I mounted the red frame on the card base with mounting tape to create a base for my pine bough arrangements. I die cut pines pieces and sponged them lightly with ink to add depth. I attached the pieces to the base of the card using glossy accents.
I added tiny 1/8” punched circles to the holly cuts for berries and arranged in around the pine attaching with glossy accents. I cut two scalloped rolled flower, sponged with brown ink and rolled loosely to create the pinecones. I applied glue every couple of turns to hold in place to form the cones. Here’s a little closer view so you can see the pinecones better. I added a few pieces of the bare branch die to give a natural look.
I finished by adding a couple of red birds and a multi loop gingham bow. I love the simplicity of this country style Christmas card.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
