Good Wednesday morning. I have the sweetest Sleigh and Reindeer card to share with you with a tiny little snowman thrown in for fun. The scene was made with the newly released Savvy Stamps dies Deer and Sleigh and Woodland Meadow Set.
The dies are small so I created a tiny framed backdrop using the Impression Obsession Square Shaker Frame to build the scene around. I used a dotted embossing folder to create the faux falling snow in the background and attached the frame to the card base with mounting tape. I cut an additional frame bottom in white so I could continue the snowy appearance from the snowy layers inside the frame.
I cut two reindeer and two sleighs so I could attach them together with mounting tape to create a little dimension. I cut the reindeer using kraft paper and then sponged them with brown ink. I used a versamarker pen to apply versa all around the border of the sleigh and the sleds and embossing with gold embossing powder.
I filled the sleigh with a little Christmas tree and a few packages. I added bows to the necks of the reindeer and gold cord for reins. I attached the deer and sleigh to the frame and then attached the little trees inside the scene. I wanted to see how to place them after I got the larger items in place. I finished by adding the sweet tiny snowman. Here is a little closer view.
I really love how this little scene card turned out. If you haven’t checked out these dies yet you must go take a look. They are so sweet.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
