Our challenge today was to create a project with a fall theme. I thought it would be fun to combine the tree line image with some beautiful fall leaves.
For my project I used Small Tree Border and Leaves Die Set.
I stamped the tree border on glossy cardstock, heat set and then sponged in the sky and ground area. I used Copic markers to color in the tree trunks and fill in the colorful fall leaves in the scene both on the trees and ground area. I sketched in some additional grassy sprigs to add interest to the scene.
I created a double matted frame for the scene and mounted over the scene with mounting tape. I attached the colorful fall leaves to the frame with glossy accents. You can find all the details of how I created the colorful leaves in this post.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
Thanks for coming by today. I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
