Good Tuesday morning. When I saw the Lifestyle Crafts Village die set I knew I had to have it. I love making Christmas houses so much and this die set takes lots of the work out of it with the cutting and scoring all in one step.
I cut the house sections out twice, once with white cardstock and once with designer paper. I wanted to have a strong base for the house and I applied the designer paper right over top. I cut the little fence section three times and attached to each other to create a solid fence around the house. I decorated the windows, fence and roof with pine and little red flowers made from a 1/8” hole punch.
I cut the tree three times and attached the sections together with glossy accents to create the standing Christmas tree. I cut the star twice and attached them back to back on the tree top.
This little snowman set is not from the Village set but is another Lifestyle Crafts dies. I think it is so darling. All the pieces you see on the snowman come with the set. I created a little l shaped stand and attached to the back of him so he would stand up in the scene.
If you love making villages for your holiday decorations or gifts then this set is definitely for you.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day.
