Good Sunday morning! Do you love snowmen Christmas cards as much as I do? I never tire of making them and always feel a little sad when the holiday is past and I have to put them away until the next season. I live in Florida so we don’t have lots of need for warm winter wishes type cards after the New Year. LOL!
Lifestyle Crafts has two precious snowmen dies out right now and they both so fun to play with. I especially love the size of the one I used on this project.
I used coordinating paper from the Christmas Cheer Tiny Tablet. I love the bright blues, greens and the darker red against the cream background. The polka dotted paper seemed so whimsical to use for my little tree line off in the distance behind Mr. Snowman.
I liked using the darker red for both the hat and scarf so they wouldn’t compete against the patterned papers. I cut a few pieces of tiny holly off of a holly vine to decorate his hat and scarf and added a few tiny flowers made from a 1/8” hole punch. I applied a glossy accent along the hat and scarf borders and on the holly and flowers and then sprinkled lightly with glitter for a bit of sparkle. Here’s a little closer view.
I cut three pieces of cardstock and crimped with my wave crimper to create a snowy hill background effect. I layered the top piece over the crimped tree line and then attached the others pieces. I tucked the snowman and the fancy tree in behind the bottom drift and attached with mounting tape. I just love the happy little scene.
I hope you are having a great finish to your holiday weekend. I so appreciate you stopping by and all of your wonderful complimentary comments.

Love your sweet snowman. I just love your snow scenes. I live in southeast Texas so we don't get much snow either...but we can dream.
