Good Thursday morning. My project today is a fun Christmas wreath made using the Twig Wreath and pine foliage with the tiny images from the Woodland Meadow set. I thought it would be fun to make a wreath covered with the decorated Christmas tree, snowman and reindeer.
The tree garland was made with gold cord and the little ornaments are punched circles from the 1/16” hole punch. The tiny stars on the tree tops and wreath are from the Cuttlebug Snowflake and Star die and are covered with yellow stickles..
The snowman arms were colored with a brown distress marker and the little coal buttons are also made with the 1/16” hole punch. I made the eyes with a black marker and cut a tiny piece orange for the carrot nose. The deer was sponged with brown distress ink and decorated with a tiny sprig of pine foliage and tiny red 1/16” ornaments. There is also a tiny red ornament on the nose with touches of diamond stickles. Too bad you can’t really see all of this fun detail.
Here’s a little closer view.
The white base was embossed and the corners cut with corner edger scissors and mounted on the red base with mounting tape for a little extra dimension and interest. I thought the wreath was so busy that it needed to be on a very plain background to show up well. The embossing adds interest without distracting from the images.
Wouldn’t this be a perfect card for a little boy or girl!!!
I hope you enjoyed seeing all the tiny decorated images. They were so much fun to make. I will say that I could use a stronger pair of reading glasses. LOL! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.
