Good Tuesday morning. I have another clean and simple wreath card to share with you today. I have had the My Favorite Things Winter Wreath die set for a couple of weeks and have just now gotten around to playing with it.
I cut six wreaths and layered three of them over top of each other with rolled glue dots and attached it to the card front with glossy accents. You can check out my rolled glue dots tutorial here if you would like to see a couple pictures of how I form the dots for thin pieces like the wreath.
I cut the others apart in several pieces to fill in the wreath and make it a little fuller. I added holly leaves that I shaped lightly with my stylus for a bit more fullness. I was going to add some kind of red berries but I really liked the simplicity of the all green wreath and solid red bow.
Here’s a closer look to see the construction up a little better. I thought the wreath was perfectly surrounded with the elegant embossed background frame. Clean and simple Christmas is what I love best.
I’m happy you stopped by today. I hope you are enjoying preparing for your holiday.

Dear Kittie - thanks so much for the beautiful ideas. I just received the MS branch punch you use so often. I used to make real wreaths, but now that I am in cardmaking, you've inspired me to create wreaths and floras onto the cards. You have another loyal fan!!! Aloha, Rosy <3
