Good Thursday morning! I have another see thru window project today using the Poppystamps Grand Madison Window, Flower Box and Plush Curtains. I created the flowers in the box with the new Memory Box Blooming Violet.
I used the die cut window as a template to draw lines on the card base for the window opening. I cut the opening using my craft knife and attached the window over the opening with mounting tape. I attached mounting tape to the inside opening over the window, attached the drapes and then a second window. I wanted the inside to be finished as nicely as the outside.
I attached the flower box under the window using mounting tape and tucked the flowers in behind the box and secured with glossy accents. I thought a few butterflies would be a perfect finish. Sadly, I couldn’t get the colors to photograph properly and the colors of the flower, foliage and butterflies look much darker than they really are. In person they are soft and sweet and go perfectly with the soft blue checked and polka dot papers.
Check my see thru window tutorial if you would like to step by step photos of how I make my open windows.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day.
For some reason some of my accessory pictures do not show but you can click on the box where the picture should be and go see them at Ellen’s. You can also click on the links in my accessories listing below.

Well your card is a very welcome sight since we are experiencing -20's here in southwestern Ontario. Very pretty card Kittie and a great tutorial on the see thru window.

Perfect for spring. Makes me think of days when pies were put on the windowsill to cool. (Like on the Andy Griffith Show)

Beautiful Kittie! Reminds me of an old farmhouse kitchen window with the flower box right outside. I can almost smell the pies baking.

With our many days of sub-zero temps, your card is refreshing. Reminds us all that Spring will arrive someday, even if for just a few days! Very pretty card, Kittie.
