Good Sunday morning. I have a framed hydrangea project to share with you today using both the Impression Obsession Hydrangea Stamps Set and Hydrangea Die Set. I think the images stamped on the die cuts add a lovely element of texture and realism to the flower and foliage.
I stamped the flower image on white cardstock with rose ink. I ran a piece of white paper directly over the rose ink pad to create the same level of color as on the stamped image and cut out several sections of the cluster of individual hydrangea blossoms. I formed the blossoms with my stylus and mat and layered them over the stamped background to add dimension. Some blossom were attached with rolled up glue dots to add height and some were directly on the stamped layer with glossy accents. By attaching the blossoms in this manner created a more dimensional and realistic flower.
I stamped the stem and foliage on spring moss cardstock and cut them out with the matching dies. I attached the hydrangea and foliage to the stem with glossy accents and then attached over the frame opening with double layers of mounting tape. I added the friend tag and single bow for the finishing touch.
Be sure and check out my blog candy post if you would like a chance to win a group of retired Stampin’ Up! mini images. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Kittie, this is gorgeous. My great grandmother had the most beautiful hydrangeas in her yard. My mother had cuttings in her yard but I had no luck growing them. So I love paper ones. This is stunning.
