Good Thursday morning. Welcome to the Impression Obsession design team challenge. Our challenge today is Shades of Green.
For my project I used the Square Shaker Frames, Butterflies, Branch, Done In Love
I like highlighting a sentiment with framing. The frame adds interest and dimension while still allowing the sentiment to be the main focus. I stamped the sentiment with black versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. I attached the sentiment to the designer paper card base and attached the shaker frame on top with mounting tape. I created a second outline frame using grand squares and attached with mounting tape.
I cut the branch twice using watercolor paper, painted with green reinker mixed with water and formed with my stylus and mat. I cut the butterfly twice, once with vanilla and once with the designer paper. I arranged the foliage and attached with glossy accents. I attached the two butterflies together at the body center with glossy accents and put rolled glue dots dots between the wings to make the stand up. I finished by adding pearls to the center.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
Thanks for coming by today. I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
