Good Saturday morning. I had a great vacation but I am always happy to get home to my own bed. I missed my paper crafting and especially having access to the internet and email. Boy have we gotten spoiled to staying connected!!!
My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration site today was Villa Sorgenfrei and I was inspired by the dried flower necklace pictured below.
I liked the cream colored flowers and green stems on the necklace against the black background. I thought the Floral Ovals would be perfect in black layered against a cream colored and embossed background layer. I attached both the embossed layer and black floral oval with mounting tape for added dimension.
I layered the cream Norrland Flowers and green Fresh Foliage over the black oval attaching with glossy accents. I created the flower centers with cream and green to add a more natural appearance to the flower.
I added a multi loop organdy bow to finish. Check out the tutorial section on my home page if you would like to see how I make my paper flowers and multi loop bows.
Have a great weekend.

Good Morning, Kittie, This is so pretty with the cream colored flowers, and the black background, the flowers really come forward with beauty. The embossed background give a spark of elegance. And a gorgeous bow to top the elegance. I love it..... Missed you, sure hope you are well, and didn't have that terrible flu. whatever; just so happy to see you back again.....have a good day.

Hope you had a wonderful vacation and sooo glad to have you back. As always you have that elegant touch and I enjoyed following along to copy ( never turns out quite like yours) but, hey, it's the trying that counts, right? Much appreciate the talent you share! M

I really like the contrast of the flowers against the black. I'm curious how you made flower centers that small. If I'm seeing correctly (which is doubtful:)), it looks like a tiny bloom, but also the green part looks like a shape I've seen in larger sized punches, but not this small. This is such a gorgeous card!

So glad you had a nice vacation and so glad you are back. Missed your daily dose of creativity sooooo much. Your card is so beautiful. I love these oval dies....I recently purchased them myself and have already used them so many times. I'm obsessed with them right now. Your flowers are amazing, as usual. A+++ on this one.
