Good Tuesday morning. I have another ornate frame card to share with you today with a delicate mini rolled rose floral spray.
I started by embossing the background and attaching to the card base. I cut the frame, attached tiny strips of mounting tape and attached to the card base.
I cut the lavish branch and formed with my stylus and mate. I cut several mini rolled roses, formed with my needle nose pliers and attached to the branch die with glossy accents. I applied glossy accents to the back of each rose and attached the designed branch to the frame and card base.
I applied tiny pieces of punched branch to each rose with glossy accents to soften and give a more natural look. I applied a multi loop bow for the final finishing touch.
I have had several people ask how I form my mini rolled roses to look so natural. I took a few pictures and placed in my tutorial section if you want to take a look. It is called Rolled Rose Petal Tutorial.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Love your card Kittie. Your work is always an inspiration to me. Thanks for the tutorial about the rolled roses. I have a question about them that isn't in the tutorial. I have these dies and the one thing that I find somewhat challenging about forming my roses is dealing with all of the "pointy bits" on the underside of the rolled bloom. Do you trim these down or just press them down as you glue them down to the base piece?
