Good Monday morning. I have a fun scene project with you today made with the new coordinating Memory Box Cottage in the Woods and Evergreen Landscape dies. These dies scream Christmas and winter projects to me but I couldn’t resist making a wonderful springtime scene with them. I would love to live there. LOL!
I started by die cutting both dies in green and cut the house again in blue and attached it over the green. I used the die to trace the house roof on white cardstock and cut it out with my snips. I used my decorative postage scissors to cut across the roof line and then attached to the house with rolled glue dots. I attached the evergreen layer flat at the bottom with ATG adhesive and used rolled glue dots behind each tree to stand away from the base. I mounted the cottage layer with mounting tape at the bottom and double layers of mounting tape behind each tree to secure in place and give another layer of dimension.
I punched out several branches and cut them in small sections and attached to the scene with glossy accents. I punched out several 1/8” circles in pink, apricot and amethyst, formed with my tiny tipped stylus and attached to the foliage to create the flower borders. I added a tiny bough to the roof top for cuteness and another touch of color. I love how soft and sweet the flowers look against the green and white. Here’s a little closer view.
I die cut the clouds and punched out a circle for the sun and attached to the sky area with rolled glue dots. I die cut the fence border and then cut about 1/3rd of the bottom off to make it small enough for the scene. I cut a thin strip of white cardstock and attached to the bottom to cover the posts and finish the fence. I attached the fence to the base of the card with tiny strip of mounting tape. I love how this turned out.
I was so excited to see these dies in a larger version than the Country Landscape. But, with that said there is also a new set called Tiny Village that coordinates with that die. I just had to have the village dies as well. I couldn’t resist showing you’re the village set even though I didn’t use it today.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful week.

What fun!!! Those dies are going on my shopping list - I can see all 4 seasons done with this idea. Thanks for a lovely card and the inspiration to use the dies exclusively on a card.

It turned out darling. I too, am glad they made a larger version. HAHA, thanks for showing the new little village even though you didn't use them. Maybe you can spend a few summer weekends there.
