Good Friday morning. I had so much fun making my two clean and simple projects with triple images for my post yesterday that I decided to make another. This time I chose to play with the window and flower box in the Poppystamps Madison House set.
I started by cutting and scoring my white card base. I cut the windows and flower boxes, placed them on the card base and marked where to cut my window openings. I cut the window openings with my craft knife and attached the windows to the opening with glossy accents. Check out my see thru window tutorial if you would like to see some step by step photos of how I cut my window openings.
I cut window shades with postage decorative scissors and attached them to the inside of the card opening. I layered another piece of blue cardstock inside the card and mounted it with double layers of mounting tape. I added foliage and tiny flowers to the flower box and finished by adding grass and flowers along the ground area.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Friday.

Good Morning, Kittie, a beautiful card for a beautiful sunny day. which today is for a change not cold either. In the 70's after 40 earlier this week. Love the colors, love the texture with the foliage and flowers. An those curtains in the windows are super...... have a good day. Love you cards everyday they brighten my day.
PS: could you show us how you used this particular die for the house you did with the roof? What size house, windows I understand it's getting the canopy roof I was wondering about. Thank you soo much.

Looks like a little cottage by the beach. Very pretty. Also, last night I was perusing the Memory Box digital catalog and was so happy to see some of your beautiful creations featured.

Wonderful "trio" card...This was a lot of detailed work but well worth it to get such a fabulous result!

I just love your card, Kittie. Adorable - I'd love to see the rest of the house! We had a gray day with freezing rain and snow up here in Midland and this was like a breath of spring to me.
