Good Saturday morning. Whew! What a long work week I have had. I am so glad it is the weekend. I have been in the mood to use some of my winter and fall dies and images and thought I would post one using the Impression Obsession Pine Branch and Birds die set and No Place Like Home stamp set. I love placing the pine against an all white background. I have created several cards similar to this but just can’t seem to help myself from making more. LOL!
This is really a straight forward card. I die cut the decorative border using Border Duo 2 and mounted it to the card base with mounting tape.
I cut the pine and sponged on a little vintage photo ink over the branch area, formed lightly with my stylus and molding pad and attached the base with glossy accents. I stamped the birds, watercolored with pumice stone ink and die cut. You can check out my tutorial here to see how I line up my dies and stamped images. I attached the birds to the branches with rolled glue dots and finished with the multi loop bow.
I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Thanks for stopping in today.
