Village House Village Church Village Cottage House
I love the new Village images. They are so perfect for creating a winter scene for holiday cards. For my project today I used the Village House paired with the Brush Tree Line, Square Shaker Frames and Pine Branch.
I stamped the house image on watercolor paper, painted with reinkers and cut out. I sponged the sky background on white cardstock using my hand cut cloud template and Inkssentials ink blending tool. I stamped the brush tree line image to complete the background for the house.
I cut the and attached a small strip of deckle cut cardstock across the bottom for a snowy ground area. I mounted the frame with mounting tape over the background scene and tucked the house in behind the ground snow and attached with mounting tape. I cut sections of pine and cut one apart to create the pine bough embellishment, I added a gingham multi loop bow for the finishing touch. I can never seem to keep myself from adding touches of pine to my holiday cards.
Thanks so much for all of your wonderful comments this past week. I sure hope you have enjoyed our CHA project previews. I just got an order of the newly released Impression Obsession dies in the mail last night so stand by for lots of fun new die projects to come.
