Good Thursday morning and Happy July 4th. Welcome to the Impression Obsession “What’s Shakin’?” design team challenge.
For my project I used the Small Fir Tree, Shaker Circle Frames, Twig Wreath (pine) and Circle Shake It Pouches.
I started by stamping the trees with peeled paint ink and sponging in the clouds using the ink blending tool and stormy sky. I hand cut the tree scene out in a large enough circle to cover the opening of the frame to seal in the glitter.
I attached ATG adhesive to the outer edge of the shaker pouch and attached the shaker frame over it. I applied ATG adhesive to the outer border of the tree scene circle, poured a generous amount of glitter on the inside of the pouch and attached the scene to the back side of the pouch sealing in the glitter.
I attached the snowflake designer paper and ground snow layer to the card base. I attached mounting tape to the back of the frame scene and attached it on the card base.
I attached several sprigs of the pine from the twig wreath to the frame and finished with the white multi loop bow.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge. Thanks for coming by today.
