Good Monday morning. Well….it’s back to work after a wonderful long weekend. It’s hard to believe how fast time flies by. My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Spiral Flowers Set, Leafy Branch and the Sizzix Frame Layers and Flowers set.
I started by cutting my oval frame and cutting an opening in the card base using my Spellbinders Classic Ovals. I wanted an open frame to put my floral spray on but also wanted depth between the front oval and the back layer. I mounted both the frame and the inside layer with mounting tape so it gave extra dimension. Does that make sense? LOL!
I cut several pieces of foliage and several spiral flowers. I cut the foliage in workable size sections and arranged them on the frame and background layer. I formed the flowers using my tweezers and glossy accents and placed them in the spray of foliage. I finished by adding several Martha Stewart Branch Punch pieces to fill in and soften the arrangement. Here are a couple of views to show the dimension of the frame and floral spray.
I finished by adding a multi loop bow. I love how this turned out. OK…I know. I am such a flower nut but I can’t help myself. If you would like to see step by step pictures of how I make my floral spray you can check out my tutorial here.
Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by.

Dear Kittie, how heavenly! If making flowers and tiny bouquets are therapeutic, then you must be the most well adjusted individual walking the planet. I love what you do!
