Kittie Caracciolo (you are here)
My project today was made using Cutout Christmas Tree, Window with Shutters and Border Duo 1.
I love the Cutout Christmas Tree with the fun flourish at the bottom. I thought it would be fun to create a clean and simple scene letting the tree be the main focus. I couldn’t resist adding a simple open window. Check out my open window tutorial if you would like to see how I make my windows scenes.
I cut the tree out in green and then using the negative of the tree as a template to draw the lines on red cardstock. I cut out the red tree and attached it be hind the green to create the red ornaments. I placed a little yellow piece to show behind the star and added yellow stickles for twinkle. I attached the tree to the base of the card with mounting tape.
Be sure to check out all of the wonderful design team projects. I hope you have a great day.
Paper: Red, Olive, White, Papertrey Accessories: Cutout Christmas Tree, Window with Shutters, Border Duo 1, Crimper, Craft Knife, Yellow Stickles, Glossy Accents, Mounting Tape, Deckle Scissors, Metal Adapter Plate , ATG , Big Shot , Teflon Bone Folder , Guillotine Paper Cutter
The detail of your card is outstanding. The dies are so precise and really make the card stand out.

I collect windows and doors of all kinds--stamps, images, take my own photos of them--and this card caught my eye, of course, because of the window. I love how this window die will allow the card maker to create a scene outside for all seasons and occasions. Thanks for sharing your project and for the opportunity to win!
