Good Sunday morning. I love making wreaths and I have another one to share with you today. This is very similar to a wreath card I posted last week done in white, red and green. I like the layout and thought it would perfectly using gold and white.
My card was made for the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge and my inspiration was a beautiful fountain pen.
I punched a 1 3/8” circle and cut out the center to create the wreath base. I attached the pine sprigs all the way around the ring with glossy accents by alternating the branches to fill in evenly. Here a couple shots from an earlier wreath post showing the ring and the first steps of attaching the foliage.
I cut the Small Blooming Poinsettia in both gold and white and assembled them to create my flower and attached it to the wreath with glossy accents.
I cut several of the larges poinsettia section in gold and cut them apart to add the leaves around the wreath.
I cut the decorative border using the Impression Obsession Border Duo 1, crimped it and attached to the card base with ATG adhesive. I attached the wreath to the base with glossy accents. Although my favorite colors for Christmas are red and green I really love all the gold and white together and how this turned out.
You can check out my wreath category on my blog if you would like to see other wreath projects.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Gorgeous wreath, Kittie! Love the fullness and combination of the pines, leaves and that lovely poinsettia. :)

You make the BEST poinsettias. Best this flower would look great in red foil, too.

This is very beautiful, Kittie! I love the gold and white and the shimmer. I have everything except the border die, and I have the regular crimper. I am sure I can use something else for the border until I can get the impression obsession die, someday. I am thinking Martha Stewart punches. I now know I need border dies, especially since I bought my magnetic platform, an early Christmas present. Poinsettias and pine and pinecones and cardinals are my favourite Christmas arrangements. This gives a different colour combination to my traditional favourites. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, inspiring card today.
