Good Friday morning. Whew! I am so glad the weekend is almost here. How about you? I have a whimsical Christmas tag to share with you today using the Penguin and Igloo set paired with Christmas Lights, Small Snowflake Set and Fir Sprig Set. I may have gone a little overboard and crammed a too much on this small tag but I just couldn’t help myself. LOL!
I cut and assembled all the different pieces of the penguin, igloo and lights. I cut the ground layer, attached to the tag base and then attached the igloo with mounting tape. I wanted the penguin to be in behind the lights and attached him with mounting tape. I created the mini Christmas tree using one sprig topped with the tiny star out of the center of one of the snowflakes. I added tiny red decorations cut from the 1/16” circle punch. I slathered all the different parts with glossy accents and applied glitter to make everything sparkle.
Here a closer view from the side to show the dimension. It’s sad because the larger photos don’t really show the scored lines of the igloo.
I think this would be a perfect tag for a little boy or girl.
Check out my blog candy post here for a chance to win Susan Tierney Cockburn’s Poinsettia and Conservatory Window. You have until 5:00 pm today to leave your comment to qualify for the random drawing.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.

You didn't go overboard at all! It's adorable... right down to the flecks of snow on the lights. All the little details make it so special.
