Good Tuesday morning. I have another Christmas window to share with your today made using the Small Madison Arched Window, Bare Christmas Tree set, Pine Sprig Cluster , Bricked and Wooden embossing folder and of course my beloved Cat Set.
Toby and Cassie were my inspiration for this window scene. Although they never go outside I thought it would be perfect to have the cats looking in the window. Well…..Toby (the little criminal on the left) has escaped outside a few times and scared me to death. He was gone for two days the first time and I was torn between wanting to hug him or kill him when he came crying at the door. LOL!
I started by cutting the opening for my see thru window, attached the outside window with mounting tape and the inside window directly to the base with ATG adhesive.
I cut and attached all the pine sprigs to the bare tree branches. I decorated the tree with tiny hand tied bows, candy canes and tiny gold ornaments made with my 1/8” circle punch. I attached the tree on the inside with mounting tape and a few glue dots along the window pane.
I put a piece of cardstock over the bottom of the bare tree to finish.
I attached pine sprigs on the window sill, added a few pieces of holly and finished with a red multi loop bow. I used my black soot distress marker to color the two cats, attached red collars and attached them to the window for the finishing touch. I especially used black and white cats so they would be a main part of the window scene and yet blend in with all the white background. Did that make sense?
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day.
Card Size: 5.5” x 4.25” Paper: Papertrey White, Stampin’ Up! Old Olive
OMGosh, what a stunning card. Adding the cats sure gives life to your beautiful card. Oh, I'm glad Toby (the little innocent criminal) returned home safely.

I feel the cozy Christmas atmosphere and I love the cats! (Not only on the card)
The naughty Toby goes sometimes on adventure! He makes me smile...
I remember me my old cat, he was the same.
Have a nice day Kittie,

Hi, I come see you every day, but rarely comment. Each scenic card is better than the last! Today's story about your cats made me smile. My partner and I and our 2 cats are currently staying with a friend and his 2 cats! So we have more cats than people, and are in danger of being called "Those cat people." lol They're all indoor babies and the oldest is an escape artist. But thank heaven she doesn't go far, only out to sniff around and then back in. I don't know what I'd do if one were gone for 2 days. Thanks for sharing your talent and the opportunity to find some lovely dies etc to craft with. Merry Christmas, Jess

Oh Kitty....you are such an inspiration. Don't know what we would do without you. How well I know about Kitty Kats getting out and not coming home! Puppy dogs too. But what would we do without them and their love! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Oh, I want a cat or cats so badly! Love your kitties looking in the window! Lovely card!!! My IO order arrived today and even though I'm so tired I want a nap, I also want to play. LOL! But, I have to make a masculine birthday card first so we'll see if any ideas come for using any of my dies on a masculine card. They are always so difficult for me. And I need it quickly so CAS may have to be my style for this one even though nothing ever seems "simple" for me... every card seems to take too long to make.

WoW!!!!! Kittie this card is beautiful, it makes me think of going for a walk and looking at the lovely homes and seeing this scene. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, inspiring card today. My beloved Charlie, escaped once, he was gone for 3 weeks, it nearly broke my heart. He came home thinner but fine, I think he might have been locked in someone's garage or he was having an adventure. He never escaped again. The black and white kitties on the windowsill are perfect for this scene. I love how you decorated the tree. Thank you for sharing this tutorial. Your cards brighten my day and inspire me, it is almost like receiving one, to be able to come here and view the blog post and receive the tutorial too.
