9 Barbara Brenneman said... What a lovely card Kittie, love the buzzy bee's and that gorgeous flower. Well I can see why your favorite border die is Impression Obsession Border Duo One, that's my favorite too. Love the versatility of the two dies. With wishes for a very happy healthy 2014!

Do you like to make Valentines? I sure do! My project today was made using one of the newly released Impression Obsession Heart Flourish. I paired this gorgeous die with the Border Duo 2 delicate and decorative border and tiny rosettes made using the Spiral Flowers and Leaf Cluster.
I cut the decorative border and attached it to the card base with mounting tape. Popping it up adds dimension and interest to this clean and simple white background. Recently a lady wrote me and commented that I must spend a fortune on mounting tape. I wrote back and said I couldn’t help myself because I was addicted to dimension. LOL!
I cut the heart flourish and attached it to the base with rolled micro glue dots. I rolled the tiny roses and attached the leaves with glossy accents and attached to the the flourish with glossy accents. This is a clean and simple and fast, easy card project that has lots of wow power with this gorgeous flourish die and roses.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day and great weekend.
Card size: 5.5” x 4.25”
Congratulations to Barbara Brenneman on the win.

Absolute beautiful card! Love the heart flourish and your tiny flowers. Great border, too. :)

Normally, I'm not a 'Valentine' kind of girl but your card has definitely made me rethink that. The red flourish with the tiny roses set against the white is nothing short of striking. Guess I will have to add another die to my wish list.

Congrats to Barbara. This has got to be the most beautiful heart die I have ever seen. Also a beautiful shade of red. This is stunningly beautiful.

Beautiful Kittie...the red on white really pops...have not even noticed this die...always happens when you use them I must have them. So happy that my hubby gave me a nice GC to Ellen Hutson's. Trying to hold out until after the CHA to see what new will be coming...but may have to order this now before Valentine's as they may disappear given your card.
Congrats Barbara...enjoy your prize.

Good Morning, Kittie. A gorgeous Valentine. Love this flourish. and the contract of red of white, just gorgeous.
I have a question, often time when I apply the accent glue it spreads and you can see it on the card where I don;t want it. I have tried by putting the accent glue on a separate piece of paper and then lightly cross over the glue to get smaller amounts. especially on things like this flourish. Would appreciate any suggestions. I do find the rolled glue dots very helpful,.........thank you soo much. Your creations always look so neat and clean.

Well first...WOW...can't believe I won the prize! Thank you ladies for your kind comments and thank you Kittie for the opportunity. I love your cards and I love the Impression Obsession heart and border dies that you used too. Your color palette is so fresh, red and white has such a clean feel.

Wow, Kittie, this card is gorgeous!! Love the tiny roses and the lacy border. I am not one for heart motifs, but I would make this card as a birthday card or an anniversary card, or a thinking of you card and use a different flourish without the heart. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, inspiring card.

Gorgeous card - the read is so stunning against the stark white and as always your flowers are works of art. I would love to know what cardstock you use as the red looks so thick compared to what I seem to get.
Thanks and Happy New Year

You are so artistic Kittie - I really love that card and the design is very unusual.
A very Happy New Year to you and those you hold dear.

I LOVE this card - it's so traditionally valentine-ish, but ever so elegant! Stunning!

Hi Myrna, I use Papertrey and Stampin' Up! cardstock. Both are wonderful.

Pattie, LOL! I have the same problem. I either wipe a little off with my fingers (I keep baby wipes available for sticky fingers) before I attach the piece. I sometimes lightly touch the piece to a piece of scratch paper to remove a little before attaching the piece.
CHA is Jan 10-14.
