Welcome to day 3 of the Impression Obsession Spring Release Designer Hop. We have some beautiful CHA peeks to share and gift certificates to give away each day!!! You will want to hop on over to the Impression Obsession blog to get all the details. I know you are going to love all the team projects you are going to see this week.
Today’s hop list!
Kittie CaraccioloYou are here
My project today was made using Alesa Baker’s Chicken Wire Background paired with the Egg Set, Tall Grass, Grass Border, Small Grass Border, Leafy Branch and Butterfly Set.
When I saw this chicken wire background I thought it would be such a cute background for an Easter chick scene with lots of color. Doesn’t that little chick look happy with all those butterflies hanging out with him along the fence line flower border!
I stamped the background with black versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. I cut the three difference grass sections and attached the layers on the background layer with ATG adhesive. I created the double matted frame and attached over the scene with mounting tape..
I cut the leafy branch 2in green and colored the branches with with a brown distress marker. I formed the leaves using my stylus and molding pad and attached under the frame corner with glossy accents. I attached a couple of the branches with rolled up glue dots. I cut the butterflies and and attached them around the scene with glossy accents. I attached the chick with mounting tape and applied a few tiny punched flowers with glossy accents for the finishing touch.
Thanks for stopping by today. I sure hope you have been enjoying our team hop.

Beautiful, happy spring card. This card makes me feel that spring is a real promise and that it will come. The ice and cold won't last forever, it feels like it. I can't even walk on the sidewalks here because of the ice. This card has lifted my spirits. I love the colours and the butterflies and the tiny flowers. It is all so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this uplifting card today.
