Welcome to day 3 of the Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Release Designer Hop. We have some beautiful new stamps to share and gift certificates to give away each day!!! You will want to hop on over to the Impression Obsession design team blog to get all the details. I know you are going to love all the team projects you are going to see this week.
Today’s hop list!
Kittie Caracciolo (that’s me)
My project today was made using the new Christmas Morning paired with the Pine Branch. I love this precious silhouette with the Christmas tree scene. My goal was to create a lit backdrop in contrast with the girl.
I started by stamping the the image twice on watercolor paper with black versafine. I wanted one to be the base for the scene. I used my craft knife and snips to cut out the arch opening and girl of the second to pop up over the base to create dimension and interest.
I watercolored the images using my waterbrush and Distress reinkers. I colored the red ornaments with a red marker. I attached the image base layer to the card base with ATG adhesive. I attached the arch/girl layer to the base with mounting tape.
I cut a double matted frame using Classic Ovals and attached over the scene with mounting tape creating another layer of dimension. I added the bright red multi loop bow and pine branches for the finishing touch.
I would like to invite you to come over to the CLASSroom today to see my Let’s Get Campy step by step tutorial. I hope to see you there right after you finish seeing all the wonderful designs the team has to share with you.
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by.
Card size for my Christmas Morning card is 5.50” x 4.25”
Love the dimension you get with all the layers. This is a lovely card.

Both cards are over-the-top Kittie, but I especially love the Christmas card. It reminds me so much of your past Christmas cards at SCS before blog land, facebook, pinterest, etc., happened. You always make the most beautiful cards that take one back in time. Thank you!! I treasure looking at your nostalgic designs. :-) Hugs and Blessings!!!

Your Christmas card is so beautiful and rich and love the silhouette! It reminds me of when my sisters and I were young and used to sneak peeks on Christmas Eve to see if Santa arrived. Your camping card is adorable! I love the deer peeking out here and there.

WoW!!!! Kittie this card is jaw dropping amazingly, gorgeous!!! I have been waiting for your first Christmas creation during this blog hop, it was worth the wait. The fussy cut layers make this card over the top. The pine branch is the perfect added 3d element. Thank you for sharing this amazing, inspiring, art card.

Good Morning, Kittie. I just finished looking at the other sites, and also your classroom camper. I left a compliment there. Love that scene.

Or just admiring the beauty of Christmas with tree, and lights. I really love how you did the dimension, and the gorgeous colors. I admire your cutting ability with craft knife, haven't mastered that one. ....love the whole feeling here. ...have a good day.
