My projects today were made using Christmas Scribbles, Cozy Christmas and Tis The Season stamp sets and Home and Heath and Laurel Wreath dies.
I love the simplicity of this beautiful pine sprig and pinecone image from the Christmas Scribbles set. I stamped the sprig image with Forest Moss distress ink on Neenah Heavyweight Solar White cardstock, heat dried it well and then lightly watercolored with a waterbrush and reinker. I stamped the pinecone image twice on Peanut Cluster cardstock with Gathered Twigs distress ink, heat dried and watercolored lightly with the waterbrush and reinker. I cut the pinecones out and formed them using my stylus and molding pad.
I cut a square frame out of Tan Woodgrain Embossed cardstock using Nesting Squares dies and shaded using Gathered Twigs and a Color Box stylus and foam tip. I cut a smaller frame using Peppermint cardstock and attached to the woodgrain frame with 1/4” double stick tape. I applied mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it over the image.
I attached the pinecones to the pine sprig with mounting tape and attached a multi loop bow for the finishing touch. Card size: 5.25” square
The images and dies in the Cozy Christmas stamp set and Home and Hearth and Laurel Wreath die sets are so cute. Snowy house scenes are one of my favorite holiday projects to make. I stamped the stars on Icy Mint cardstock using Mustard Seed Distress Ink to create the base for the scene and attached it to the card base. I cut three layers of ground snow using Neenah Heavyweight Solar White cardstock, applied Crafter’s Pick Ultimate Glue, covered with Polar White Flower Soft and allowed it to dry. I used an old paint brush to glue to the top of the houses and sprinkled with Flower Soft. I crimped all the tiny trees with my straight crimper to add a tiny bit of dimension.
I attached the three layers of snow to the card base with ATG adhesive. I cut the width of the layers narrower than the frame so they wouldn’t get in the way of attaching the frame. I tucked all the little houses and trees in with mounting tape and glossy accents.
The frames were cut using the Nesting Card Templates, attached together with ATG adhesive and attached over the scene with mounting tape. The houses were cut using Red Hots cardstock and the trees were cut using Gumdrop cardstock. The sentiment layers were cut using the Nesting Rectangles and the sentiment was stamped using Fired Brick Distress Ink. I attached two Laurel Wreaths to the frame with glossy accents and attached the sentiment with mounting tape. Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
I feel in love with the little car with it’s Christmas tree on the roof in the Tis The Season set and knew I had to do lots of fussy cutting to create a dimensional snowy holiday card. I stamped the car twice with black Versafine on Wax Lips cardstock and embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the top of the car and tree several times on Caramel Apple cardstock with black Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. I used my craft knife to cut out the windows of the first car and then used my snips to cut out around the wheel wells. I colored the wheels of the second car with a black Copic marker , cut off the top portion of the car and then attached the top car with mounting tape. I cut all the trees out and off the car top using my snips.
I used a hand cut cloud template, Tumbled Glass distress ink and an ink blending tool to create a sky background for my scene. I attached the scene to the card base with ATG adhesive. I cut two snow ground layers and attached them to the card base with ATG adhesive. I cut the red frame using Nesting Card Templates and attached over the snow scene with mounting tape.
I hand cut the little banner and stamped the sentiment with black Versafine. I attached the car to the scene with mounting tape and attached the banner with glue dots. Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
I sure hope you have enjoyed my projects and know you are going to love all the wonderful creations made by my fellow hoppers.
Enjoy and happy World Card-making Day!

I liked each of your projects VERY much. I especially like how you used dimension (molding the pine cones) and the wood grain look of the frame
around it. I like that you encased your scenes by framing them. The flower
soft looks like fluffy snow~it really does! I like how you layered the scene
with the little car and the Christmas tree. You could easily sell these cards! Lots of fun techniques!
