Good Wednesday morning. I would like to inviteyou to join me in the CLASSroom for day three of the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2014 for my Poinsettia Window Tag and and step by step tutorial.
I had so much fun making my window tag for this very special event that I decided I had to do another tag project for my post today. I love making scene projects with all white images. I know you have heard that many times. I created a sparky snowy night scene with a frosty tree and fence line with a sweet little bunny. Sadly you can see the sparkle well in the photos. This may be one of the most difficult projects I have ever tried to photograph and capture the all white images and sparkle against the dark blue background.
I started by applying a dark blue piece of cardstock to the tag and punching a hole at the top for the ribbon. I placed the tag in a box and used white watercolor paint, water and a tooth brush to spatter the snow for the background. I cut the Tree Frame and cut the frame away leaving only the tree and trimmed off the square branches. I cut two Wide Tree sections and pieced them to the back of the tree to create additional branches and attached with glossy accents. I cut the fence sections, fir sprigs and the ground pieces to use for the scene. I painted Crafter’s Pick glue on the branches of the tree section by section and applied crystal glitter I applied the glue and glitter to the top of the fences, on the sprigs, the moon and the ground pieces and set it all aside to dry.
I attached the back ground piece with ATG adhesive and tucked the tree trunk in behind and attached with mounting tape. Next I attached the fences with mounting tape and covered with the front ground piece. I didn’t want that pieces to stick out quite as far as it would with mounting tape so instead I attached a rolled piece of 1/4” double stick tape.
I tucked the fir sprigs in behind the ground pieces attaching with glossy accents. I added the bunny for a sweet touch of nature for the finishing touch.
Thanks for coming by today. I sure hope you go on over to the CLASSroom and check out my post as well as Julie’s day 1 post and Jennifer’s day 2 post.

Stunning, as always!!! No one can create such depth of layers and realism as you can! They are both gorgeous.

Love it, its just gorgeous. Now I understand how you did the window (thank you) for the details. The wainscoting always looks so pretty and love the poinsettia, holly and pine branches.
The tree scene is stunning with the dark background. Love the glittery tree and snow in the foreground, and that cute little bunny is so perfect. Beautiful.
