Good Monday morning and Happy Fourth of July. Before I start my post I want to draw your attention to Ellen Hutson’s Fourth of July Sale . You can check out the details at the bottom of my post. Have you had a chance to check out the cute Impression Obsession Patchwork collection? The main focal point of my project today is the Patchwork Whale and I think he is so cute.
I applied Cosmic Shimmer glue to the wave sections, sun and water spouts and sprinkled with clear glitter and allowed them to dry. I applied double stick tape to the bottom back of the frame and attached the waves. Then I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base.
I assembled the whale by attaching the fin and eye to the body with glossy accents. I applied a piece of mounting tape to the back of the whale and attached him to the card base. I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the water spouts and attached them to the card base. I attached the glittery sun to the card base with mounting tape. I thought the three jumping dolphins were the perfect finishing touch. I kept the frame and background all white to make all the bright images pop.
Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a Happy Fourth of July!
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
