Good Monday morning and welcome to day one of the Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Release Blog Hop! We have some beautiful new stamps to share with you this week and there are going to be gift certificates to be given away. Check out the Impression Obsession Blog for all the details and be sure to leave comments on the team blog posts as you hop along. Good luck!
My project today was made using the new Delicate Pine Frame paired with the Deer Trio, Pine Sprig, Cardinals, Fir Tree and Small Fir Tree.
I stamped the frame with Peeled Paint ink, heat set it and then cut the frame opening and red matted frame. The red mat was attached to the frame using double stick tape . I applied Tumbled Glass ink on the background using a ink blending tool and stamped the fir trees in the background using Peeled Paint ink. I cut a a ground layer white cardstock and deckle scissors and applied embossing paste with a palette to create the snowy affect. I applied double stick tape to the back of the frame and attached the snow layer. Then I applied strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the scene layer.
I applied Antique Linen and Vintage Photo ink to the deer and attached them in the scene using mounting tape. I tucked a few pine sprigs in behind the snow and attached with glossy accents. I used a small brush to apply white Gesso to the tips of the sprigs to create a touch of snow. I attached two sprigs to the corner of the frame and attached the large cardinal with mounting tape. I finished by adding a couple more cardinals for another touch of red.
Thanks for coming by today and I hope you enjoy hopping along to see all the beautiful design team projects.

I love the frame of pine branches around your card. (I hope you don't mind that I'm going to borrow it for my Christmas cards. I have an idea to put a cardinal in the middle of the frame sitting on branches of pine and scattered with pinecones) Your cards always inspire me.You have shared many, many wonderful techniques from your craftroom. I'm truly grateful.
