Good Thursday morning. I have fun Halloween cards to share with you today. I am not fond of spooky or scary Halloween cards and Impression Obsession has some new scene dies that are cartoony and fun. I thought I would take a few step by step photos of to show how fast and easy these framed scene cards come together. The first card was made using the Witch Line and the second with the Halloween Scene.
Project Pieces and Supplies
Witch Line, Black Frame 4.50”, White Frame 4.25”, Card Base 5.00” Square, Mounting Tape
1. Apply thin strips of mounting tape all the way around the back of the black frame and a few small pieces in the corners and attach it to the white frame.
2. Attach thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the double matted frame and attach to the card base.
3. Attach small pieces of of mounting tape to the back of several of the key pieces of the Witch Line and attach it to the card base.
Here’s my second card that was just as fast and easy as the card above. The Halloween Scene die creates it’s own frame. I cut it out using a 4.50” black frame.
I attached the die cut frame to the 5.00” square card base using thin strips of mounting tape and dressed it up by adding an orange scalloped frame from the All-in-One Frames Circles for a little bit more contrast for the scene.
Here’s a card I posted a while back made with the new Halloween Web with lots of fun Halloween images added around the frame.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.
All cards are 5.00” Square
Evening Kittie....
Dang these are cute... except the spider one. I really hate spiders...lol. You know what this means.....more dies I'm going to have to have... lol. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity....

Wow, Kittie!! I am loving these step-by-step instructions!! Your cards are incredible ... and you always make it look so easy.
O.K. I have a stupid question. On your first card using that incredible witch line die, you indicated that you used a Black Frame measuring 4.50” and a White Frame measuring 4.25”. I am assuming these measurements are the cardstock size. What did you use to cut the circles, and how large of a circle should you use for each?
As always, thanks for your help!!

Hi Judy, Your question is not stupid. LOL! The black frame base is 4.50" and the white is 4.25". The circles were cut with Classic Circle Nestabilities. I'm sorry I failed to mention that. The larger circle is 3.75" and the smaller is 3.50". Thanks for your asking and I'm glad you liked the step by step.

Hi Kitty, These cards are adorable. What is the tool you are using to help place the mounting tape down in those small spaces? Is it tweezers, scissors? Thanks

I am not a fan of scary or gruesome for Hallowe'en either. I love the fun cards you have created with this set of dies. Great photos on how to assemble the different layers under the delicate witch and her decorations.
Thanks for sharing! :)

Hi Bernice, I used the tweezers from my Garden Tool Kit to place the small pieces of mounting tape. They are also very helpful to place larger dies like I did with the Witch Line. Thank you for asking and your sweet comment.

Hi Kittie, I am not into Halloween either, at least the super scary types of things. I love the FALL though and it is my favorite season, though much too short here in Colorado.
These cards are PERFECT and so darn cute..I have 3 great nephews that are 3 to 5 and a brand new great baby niece. They love getting cards (well the boys do) and these are the type I am comfortable making.
Thank you, Kittie. I hope your doing well.
Blessings,
Victoria
